Beautiful Wedding Photography Albums & Books - Your Package Choices

Your wedding photographs and particularly your wedding album are the one permanent and lasting memory of your wedding day. This is why my wedding photography packages are carefully put together to show off your wedding day pictures to their absolute best. I do offer a disc-only package for those couples who really don't want an album but many couples change their mind and choose an album when they see what's possible.
There are two main styles of wedding album available today, both of which have many different options and combinations and can be sourced from lots of different suppliers. The overlay or matted album is what most people think of as a traditional wedding album, with photographic prints mounted on to album pages and set-off by the overlays or mats. Then there is the photo book or coffee-table book, often using a magazine style layout. This is prepared digitally from the image files and printed into a hard bound book, sometimes with a large image on the cover.
I offer both of these styles of album because I believe either style of album can be designed to produce a beautiful and lasting memory of your day. Much more than just a record of what happened and who was there. It is the type of album and number of images in the album that determine the difference in my package prices.
The Daytime Package - £1000
In this package my photography coverage extends from the bridal preparations through to the time you sit down for your wedding breakfast. It is not restricted to a set number of hours but differs from the other pacakges in that I do not stay for the speeches and evening.
The albums I offer in this package are the Jorgensen Studio or a 12" version of the Graphistudio album. Both are detailed below. You are welcome to upgrade any component of this package to include longer coverage or a different album.
The Jorgensen Studio Overlay Package - £1350
This is an overlay or matted album style and is named after the manufacturer's name for the type of album I usually use. The Jorgensen Studio album is made by one of the top album suppliers to professional photographers and is of excellent quality. Photographs are mounted on to the album pages and there is a wide selection of overlays available to frame the pictures.
My sample album has a black cover and ivory overlays and is 12"x12" in size. The maximum print size that can be mounted on to each page is 10"x10" square. This is a lovely size page and gives scope to be able to use popular sizes such as 10"x8" (almost A4) in either portrait or landscape orientation and to display multiple images on the same page without them looking too small. My current Jorgensen package allows for 15 double-sided pages in the album, which equates to 30 pages of photos. This means you could use the maximum page size for single images and have an album of 30 images. A much more popular option today is to use the overlay styles available to create an album of around 50-55 images. This gives a mix of full-page and multiple-image layout pages and looks great. Every album layout is individually and uniquely designed by me from the images you choose at your viewing after the wedding. Then you have the opportunity to change anything in the design that you want to before I order the album, overlays and prints and put the album together by hand.
These albums are restricted to 30 pages but you can upgrade to a 40 page album for £150 or I can source other styles of Jorgensen album from their bespoke ranges. Once you have chosen your images we can work out if you may want to do this before starting to put the design together.
There are other options for cover and overlay colours too, as well as different style covers and different size albums. Changing the cover or overlay colours is free of charge but there may be extra charges to change the style or size of the album, as noted above. It's important for you to be completely happy with your wedding album so just ask if you want to change anything about this album package. There is no obligation to make a final decision on the style or size of album or number of images/pages until after your viewing of your wedding day pictures. In fact, you are welcome to change the package completely to one of the other styles of album. The only decision you need to make at booking time is the provisional package that you think you will want.
The Graphistudio Package - £1550
Graphistudio is an Italian company that produces high-quality coffee-table style wedding photography books from designs that wedding photographers lay out. There are many different designs and templates available through the Graphi software but I prefer to design my albums individually and to tailor the album pages to my couples' wishes.
In this package I offer a Graphi album that is about 14"x11" in size. My sample album is in portrait orientation and has a full-page photo cover mounted inside a "Crystal Glance" acrylic block. You are free to change the orientation or cover. Some covers have cost implications but there is no charge for changing the album orientation to landscape. Inside, the design is extremely flexible. You can choose to have images "full-bleed" meaning they extend right to the edges of the page, you can place borders around the images, have them extend across pages and mix & match sizes and styles throughout the album.
The package includes the first 70 images, which I usually recommend takes up no more than 32 pages. This gives a good mixture of full-page, double-page and multiple-page layouts and gives a real flavour of your wedding day unfolding through the book. Extra pages are charged at £15 each. As the layout is so flexible, 10 extra pages in your album may be able to hold 5 images that take a complete double-page spread, 10 full-page images, 20 images placed two to a page or as many as 45 extra images using a layout of 9 images across the double-page spread. All of these combinations or any other combination or mixture of images would be priced the same - £150 for the ten extra pages. All design and layout is included in this package price.
After you choose your images I produce a draft design that you can then approve or amend as you wish. Once we have agreed a final design it will go to print in Italy and be back with you in 4-6 weeks as a beautiful, finished book. You can also order copies of the main album in a variety of sizes. I offer parents' albums and sets of 4 or 8 pocket-sized mini albums as extras to my advertised packages but you are welcome to order different sizes and quantities as you wish.
The Bellissimo Package - £1750
This package is very similar to the Graphi package but is Bigger! For £200 extra I can offer a 16"x12" album that has all the flexibility of the Graphi but is a lovely big size. This one really makes a statement! I have two sample albums of this size. One is a Graphi album with the same type Crystal Glance cover and the other is the Bellissimo album, produced in Scotland by a leading photography lab Loxley Colour.
My Bellissimo album is landscape orientation and the Graphi is portrait. Designs are interchangeable and although there are subtle differences in page texture, cover style and layout options, they can be designed to look very similar.
The Mid-week Package - From £700
If you are getting married on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday I have a reduced price package that includes a Jorgensen Studio album as described above. I can change this to a smaller Graphi for the same price so please let me know if this package appeals to you.
The Coverage
As detailed on the main package page, with the exception of the mid-week and daytime packages, I do not restrict the amount of time I spend at your wedding. All my full-day packages include photography from as early as you want me in the morning to as late in the evening. Usually this means I will start with the bride and her preparations. This may be at your home or at the venue, sometimes at a hair salon. Wherever you need me to be, I'll be there! If the whole wedding is one place, at a country house hotel or stately home for example, then I will also have time to catch up with the groom and his party during this time. Even if the venues are separate it is sometimes possible for me to see both of you before the ceremony, depending on where everything is taking place and what the timings are. I don't usually work with an assistant or a second photographer though.
I will then stay with you throughout the day for the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening reception. Usually I will stay until a little while after the first dance and once the party has got started I will leave you to it. However, if you have something happening that you would like to include in your wedding album, such as a band playing, the groom singing with the band(!) or fireworks at the end of the evening then I will stay for that at no extra charge. I always love my wedding days with you but it can be quite a long day. So to keep the creative juices flowing I appreciate you asking the caterers to provide me with some vegetarian food whilst you are eating your meal. Thanks in advance!
My mid-week package is priced according to the length of time I stay at the wedding. Please call me for an individual quote.
The full-day packages also include a pre-wedding portrait shoot and all packages include an online web gallery where you, your friends, family and guests can view your wedding day images and order prints and products.
