Well your wedding is all about you so all you need to know about me is that I'll make sure I remember that!

But if you insist, I'll tell you a little about myself. Firstly I really love my work. I have always looked at the world in a photographic way and love to capture the character and emotions of people. After a 15 year career in IT with photography as a side project, I was delighted to finally set up on my own at the end of 2006 and become a full time professional photographer. I dedicate myself now to achieving high quality in both capture and presentation and I never stop learning and striving to get even better. I have a qualification from the British Institute of Professional Photography which means I can use the letters LBIPP after my name and I have trained with some of the top wedding and portrait photographers in the UK.

My philosophy at a wedding is to tell the story as it unfolds throughout the day and evening, all the time looking out for special moments and great light. I concentrate on making sure there are loads of great portraits of the couple, whether posed or not, and I'm happy to get all the groups you want to as well. It's your day and we'll work together to give you memories of your wedding day that you'll happily look back at for ever.

I live in Ledbury, Herefordshire with my wife and two young sons but was born in East London and I grew up in Southend & Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. I love to travel and work anywhere in the country (or abroad!) and I have photographed weddings in Cornwall, Derbyshire, Essex, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Hertfordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and South Wales. With a family base in Matlock, Derbyshire it's easy for me to cover weddings right across the Midlands without having to charge extra for travel expenses.

I also play the bass guitar and I have a PPL(H). That's a licence to fly helicopters, which sounds a lot grander than it is as I hardly ever do it! Anyway, that's enough about me.
